AMWU VIC JOINS RALLY, CALLING FOR PEACE and A CEASE FIRE IN GAZA WAR

AMWU Vic Assistant Secretary Tony Piccolo spoke at Sunday’s peace rally in front of 50,000 Melburnians, calling for an immediate cease-fire in the war against Gaza and the Palestinians by Israel.

“They need to give peace a chance by stopping the ‘bang, bang’ and starting the ‘yap, yap’. Piccolo also called on other unions to join the rallies, which are held every Sunday.

In addition to the AMWU, HACSU was also present, concerned about the dire medical situation in the besieged Gaza.
