Run for Palestine | Melbourne, VIC

runforpalestine_logoThe Run for Palestine is held annually to raise awareness of the Palestinian struggle for human rights – freedom, justice, civil liberties and self-determination. The Run is a sporting and family event that seeks to bring public attention to the desperate needs of Palestinian children who do not have any of the advantages or basic human rights of children in Australia. The Run will sponsor programs to improve Palestinian children’s daily living conditions, such as access to clean drinking water, education, healthcare, food, clothing, housing and ability development.  All profits go to the Red Crescent Society for Gaza Strip to aid in the rehabilitation of disabled Palestinian children.

Sunday 10 November 2013.  Registration from 10am.
